Do students have to be enrolled in order to provide services?

Yes, according to the NRW Higher Education Act and the examination regulations of UPB, students must be enrolled when taking examinations! Under certain circumstances, it is possible to take examinations during a leave of absence. No examinations may be taken after de-registration - this also applies to the submission of final theses!

No, students only need to be enrolled in order to be able to perform (on the day of an examination / during the time spent working on the thesis / on the day of the colloquium). Please note: If it is not certain whether the examination has been passed, students should remain enrolled, as the examination can only be repeated in this case.
